Responsibilities:
- Managing timely financial closing and support various internal/external management and JV partner reporting requirements.
- Partner with Shared Service Center to complete financial reporting deliverables.
- Work on various corporate tax, group tax and goods & services tax compliance.
- Ensure internal controls and governance framework are embedded into daily operations.
- Up hold and drive processes to ensure compliance to Sarbanes Oxley requirements, US GAAP, IFRS and Companies Act.
- Partner with the business to lead site business review with senior management,
- Active involvement with stakeholders in annual budgeting, cost management, and productivity improvement activities.
- Involvement in various activities for process innovation, thinking out of box driving process simplification and automation.
- Liaise with auditors of relevant authorities to ensure financial, tax and legislation compliance.
Requirements:
- Degree educated with optional professional qualification (ACCA/CA/CPA/CIMA).
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience relevant in financial analysis or accounting functions.
- Demonstrated experience in audit & statutory reporting would be ideal.
- Experience with dealing with cross functional and external stakeholders.
- Insightful, comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty, pro-active, collaborative, and consultative.
- Adaptive to a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Qlik Sense, Microsoft Power BI or other programming language is an added advantage.
