Responsibilities
- Service / Maintenance of motor vehicles (Petrol & Diesel) including engine checks, chassis checks, battery checks and identify mechanical defects or faults and replace defective or worn parts.
- Overhaul and test major components such as engines, transmission systems and electrical systems.
- Mainly repairs Japanese and Korean vehicles, Toyota and Nissan
- Install In-Vehicle Unit (IU) and CCTV
- Fundamental electrical knowledge to troubleshoot electrical systems and usage of Engine Diagnostic Equipment to troubleshoot “Check Engine Light’ and identify electrical faults, perform repairs and replace defective parts.
- Experienced in electrical wirings to install accessories like reverse camera, driving video recorder, alarm security system and audio system.
- Attend to customer’s enquiries, requests, feedbacks and concerns on vehicle related issues.
- Ensure compliance to health and safety policies and procedures in the course of work inside workshop area at times.
- Maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the workshop area through good housekeeping.
- Perform assigned ad-hoc duties.
- Observe good personal hygiene and obey safe distancing measures at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience preferred.
- Good working attitude with a service-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Team player with initiative and a positive attitude towards learning and during the course of work.
- Able to work on weekend and public holiday
