Job Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Develop, manage, and execute financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.
- Analyze financial data, trends, and variances to provide insights for decision-making.
- Assess the financial health of the organization and provide recommendations for improvements.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and present financial statements, reports, and summaries to senior management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Cash Flow Management:
- Monitor cash flows, including inflows and outflows, to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
- Implement strategies for optimizing cash utilization and investments.
Risk Management:
- Identify and assess financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks.
Develop and execute risk management strategies to protect the organization's financial assets.
Taxation and Compliance:
- Oversee tax planning and compliance, ensuring adherence to tax laws and regulations.
- Minimize tax liabilities while optimizing tax strategies for the organization.
Requirements:
- Min 5 years of experience in relevant role, preferably in shippping industry
- Min Degree in Accounting/Finance or equilvalent qualification
- Strong knowledge of financial management principles, accounting standards, financial analysis, and budgeting.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for presenting financial information to senior management and stakeholders.
