Responsibilities

You will join as a Financial Markets Risk and Finance PM-BA and be part of our T&I team of experts in Singapore. Working directly with Traders, Risk Managers and Product Controllers in Financial Markets, this role will develop your knowledge of FM traded products, models and analytics and build your investigation and problem-solving skills. This is a great opportunity to hone your skills on a cutting edge, big data, Cloud enabled risk platform and learn alongside experts in the field. This role encapsulates a level 3 (expertise) support role, a PM role and a BA role in Financial Markets Technology Team. Domain knowledge is required.

Key Responsibilities

· Support User inquiries for FM Risk and Valuation from Risk Managers, Product Control and Front office

· Identify bottlenecks, area of improvements and create a backlog to enhance Platform capabilities and Stability

· Develop measurable KPIs and monitor/report progress

· Drive requirements Analysis taking full ownership of Scope, prioritisation and negotiations

· Gather requirements, analyse and document it, prepare backlog and participate in Agile ceremonies for estimation and planning

· Perform Solutioning for User requirements involving Quants and Data teams

· Manage Delivery working with FM Tech Development Teams and QA Team

· Post go-live support to Users and Product Support Team

· User UAT support, demos and onboarding

· Enhancements Tracking, requirements and prioritisation

· Periodic Stakeholder reporting and working group management

Regulatory & Business Conduct

· Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Key stakeholders

· FM users: Traders, Market Risk, Finance, Middle Office, Operations

· Technology: Level 1&2 support teams Development leads, developers, testers, project managers

Our Ideal Candidate

· Degree educated in mathematics / financial mathematics, statistics, finance or computer science. MSc or PhD preferred

· 8+ years’ experience in Financial Markets, in a financial institution or a leading risk management software company, with a focus on derivatives risks and valuations

Role Specific Technical Competencies

· Knowledge of options & derivatives modelling is at least one asset class (FX, Commodities / Rates / Credit / Equities)

· Passionate for solving challenging problems and learning new skills. Hands-on, knowledge of SQL and scripting languages is preferred

· Customer support-oriented mindset, able to work and deliver under pressure in a competitive Financial Markets environment.

· Strong academic foundation in mathematics / financial mathematics, statistics, finance or computer science. MSc or PhD preferred
