PRINCIPAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for Back Office tasks related to LNG trades, such like price /cost calculation, invoicing, communication with internal/external parties (especially with Japanese LNG customers in Japanese) and entry Sales/COGS into accounting system.
  • Verification function to ensure all trades are booked correctly, liaising with front office or counter parties for any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Establish good working relationship and provide excellent service and prompt problem resolution to internal/external parties.
  • Report any compliance discrepancies and other risks to the superiors, if noticed.
  • Ad-Hoc duties assigned by the superiors

REQUIRED ABILITY AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Ability to speak, read and write Japanese and communicate with Japanese customers
  • Basic accounting knowledge
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in back office or trade finance or accounting
    (ETRM system : Endur and Aspect, Accounting system: Mints GBS)
  • Ability to focus on accuracy and meet the deadlines
