Responsibilities:
- Executing crew changes in adherence to the Seafarers’ Employment Agreement and as per the Crewing Superintendent’s directives.
- Ensuring that all Seafarers are adequately trained and meet the Company’s, STCW, and Flag State requirements.
- Reporting changes in the employment status of seafarers to the crew wages department.
- Participating in crew planning, promotion, and career development.
- Engaging in recruitment activities.
- Monitoring and managing monthly mail from vessels, preparing mail to vessels, and conducting follow-ups.
- Reviewing vessel disbursement accounts in collaboration with the designated Superintendent.
- Notifying relevant parties about medical cases/accidents and overseeing related documentation.
- Coordinating accident/deviation insurance for non-fare paying passengers.
- Facilitating cash to Master arrangements.
- Verifying and approving travel expenses for payment upon request.
- Handling other assigned special tasks.
- Demonstrating proficiency in the Company’s Management System.
- Effectively implementing the Company’s Management System.
- Contributing to the development or modification of procedures.
- Advocating and supporting continual improvement efforts.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working on a ship or ashore in a shipping or ship management company.
- Proficient in the speaking/writing.
- Good computer skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
