Responsibilities
1. Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholders to understand project requirements, expectations, and constraints
- Foster effective communication and alignment between different teams and departments involved in the project
2. Project Leadership:
- Lead a team of resources to successfully deliver technology projects related to police walkie talkie communication systems
- Set clear goals and expectations, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets
3. Financial Management:
- Take ownership of financial management and reporting for the project
- Optimize processes to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency in project execution
4. Negotiation and Problem-Solving:
- Negotiate with customers to address concerns, overcome obstacles, and ensure customer satisfaction
- Source vendors when required, negotiate pricing, and manage vendor relationships throughout the project lifecycle
5. Vendor Management:
- Demonstrate experience in managing external vendors and conducting successful commercial negotiations
- Ensure vendors meet project requirements and deliverables according to agreed-upon timelines
6. Leadership Skills:
- Exhibit strong financial and people leadership skills
- Motivate and guide the project team towards successful project outcomes
7. Proven Track Record:
- Showcase a proven track record of successfully delivering technology projects, preferably in the field of communication systems
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years project delivery and client relationship management in a technology environment
- Certifications in Project Management (PMP) would be beneficial to performing this role
- Working location is in Ang Mo Kio
