Responsibilities:
• Handle the collection and transportation of deceased individuals
• Drive and operate company vehicles, including funeral hearses
• Prepare coffins and assist in the encoffining process
• Perform essential tasks during funeral proceedings, supporting funeral advisors in assisting grieving families
• Load and unload heavy items, including coffins
• Set up and dismantle funeral wake arrangements
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of company vehicles, premises, goods, and equipment
• Uphold company service standards and professionalism
• Undertake any ad-hoc tasks as required
Requirements:
• Flexibility to work shifts and overtime as needed
• Availability for weekend and public holiday shifts
• Possession of a valid Class 3 Driving License
• Physical fitness for handling strenuous tasks and lifting heavy items
• Compassionate approach in dealing with bereaved families
• Team-oriented mindset
• Previous industry experience is advantageous but not mandatory
