Job Responsbilities
- To provide individual or group psychotherapy (e.g., behaviour therapy, cognitive-behaviour therapy) adolescent, adult and elderly patients in the wards and specialist clinics.
- To conduct psychometric assessments (i.e., IQ, personality and neuropsychological) for adolescent, adult and elderly patients in the wards and specialist clinics.
- To work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals comprising clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, nurses and allied health professionals.
- To develop and conduct training, workshops and group sessions for community partners, patients and the public.
- To participate in research projects independently or in collaboration with other specialists.
- For the Senior Clinical Psychologist, to provide supervision to Masters in Clinical Psychology students and junior psychologists.
Requirements
- Master's or Doctoral of Psychology, with specialization in Clinical or Health Psychology, from an accredited university.
- Registered with or be eligible for a valid registration with a recognised psychological professional body, such as APA, APS, or BPS.
- For the position of Senior Psychologist, at least 5 years of relevant clinical experience.
- Dynamic, resourceful, able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Must be fully vaccinated with COVID-19 vaccinations
