Our client, a US MNC that produces engineered fasteners and components, equipment and consumable systems, and specialty products will be starting a new branch in Singapore this year.
We are looking for Sales Engineers from Adhesives, Epoxy, Coatings, Composities, Thermoplastics industry within within assigned geographical in SE Asia.
Currently will be fully working from home until Singapore office branch has completed the set-up.
Sales Engineer (Adhesives, Epoxy, Coatings, Composities, Thermoplastics)- TK
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for sales growth in either Heavy Industry/ MRO/ Transportation/Electronics industry within South East Asia (Taiwan, Malaysia and Indonesia).
- Proactively develop and expand new customers in SE Asia to meet company sales target.
- Analyse market potential and develop competitive positioning and strategies.
- Conduct product training, Demo and presentation to customers on product’s attributes on how it suits the customers better than competing products.
- Understand customer needs to uncover additional opportunities within assigned market and accounts through on-site demo application/product support.
- Provide Pre- and Post-sales and technical support to customers.
- Track and Report sales activities and project development status; submit weekly and monthly report.
- Follow up sales orders through phone calls and regular visits.
- Strong communications and relationship building skills (distributors/end-users) that can successfully translate opportunities to order.
- To complete any other work assigned by superior.
- Promote, support and adhere to all safety, environmental and quality related policies and procedures.
Job Requirements
- Degree / Diploma holders
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Adhesives and Encapsulating product is preferred. Candidates from composites, thermoplastics or adhesives dispensing machines can be considered.
- Experience in managing regional distributors with fine business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit.
- 60-70% travel required.
- Strong Consultative/solution driven sales approach;
- Strong analytical, organizational, time and territory management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship building and leadership skills.
- Works well under pressure, challenges status quo.
- Able to work independently as well as a team player.
- Good competency with Microsoft Excel, Words and Powerpoint.
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- Business level of English language to liaise with global customers and colleagues.
