Overview of role
To oversee, plan and manage assigned projects within/without the organisation according to the organizational requirements and project goals (budget, quality and time), leading to acceptance and successful achievement of project goals and objectives
Responsibilities
- lead and manage SAP/Ariba implementation projects
- manage all aspects of project life cycle to facilitate successful delivery of the project
- deliver the projects utilising the project methodologies, processes, documentation, tools and measurements in relation to project management
- collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, technical leads, and end-users
- ensure all documents and deliverables are met timely
- implement the project in compliance with company’s quality standards and company project management model
- ensure project milestones are met within agreed timelines and budget
- develop comprehensive project plans, and monitor progress continuously
- create project specification, budgeting, schedule and planning/securing of resources
- responsible for interfacing with the project’s internal and external stakeholders
- identity project risks and develop risk mitigation plans
- provide project leadership, work direction and feedback
- provide project update, reporting, review and monitor the project progress (including cost and schedule)with the stakeholders
- responsible for a proper change management (as required)
Requirements
- degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or related field
- have about 15 years working experience in IT/SAP with a minimum 5 - 8 years in SAP project management
- experience in SAP S/4HANA advantageous
- PMP certification is desired
- excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills and be able to interact with people at all levels
- strong leadership skill as to lead and motivate a group of project implementation resource(s)
