Overall Purpose of Job
- Evaluate tender requirement
- Preparation and submission of tenders
- Support project execution, including major equipment procurement and sub-contracting works.
- Provide support and guidance to junior executives in the team
Responsibilities
- Tenders – Work as part of tender team to provide commercial inputs in preparation for bid. This shall include working with other teams on technical specification, ensure completeness from suppliers’ scope of supply to meet technical requirements, update cashflow and forex management in cost estimate and business leaders to prepare bid proposal in a timely manner.
- Claim management – Provide a supporting role to Project Team in commercial resolution of claims and issues from customers and/ or vendors. This shall include drafting of letters, contracts and settlement agreement with legal and project team.
- Project execution – Commercial commitment to provide supporting role to Project Manager. This shall include purchases of major equipment and engage in sub-contracting services, invoicing, forecasting of monthly cashflow and estimation of completion.
Requirements
- Min 6 years’ experience in marine industry, project management / procurement experience is an advantage.
- Highly motivated and capable of working with self-initiative or in a team
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Good planning and organisational skills to manage and prioritize multiple projects and demanding deadlines
- Knowledge of SAP
- Only Singaporeans
