· Minimum Class 2 C.O.C Engineer
· Sailed as Engineer Preferably on Tankers.
· Minimum with Chief officer Experience on Tankers
· Shore experienced preferred. From Sailing also welcome.
Job description
· To monitor and provide guidance to vessels’ compliance of international regulations, Class & Flag Survey requirements, marine standard and HSSE Issues;
· To monitor and provide guidance and assist ship’s staff in implementing of safe procedures/practices in compliance of vessels’ health, safety, security and environmental protection procedures;
· Arrange, prepare and guide vessels for SIRE Inspection and other Oil major inspections; Pre-vetting inspection and response report in OCIMF website;
· Ensure the efficient and satisfactory performance of the ship to meet charterer’s requirement;
· Monitor and guide vessels’ compliance of requirements of PSC/FSC; Response report for any deficiency due to PSC/FSC inspection;
· Assist DPA for technical matters ,revisions of SMS, creating TechnicalCirculars, etc;
· Conduct vessel inspections to ensurecompliance with the Company ‘s SMS andvarious rules and regulations;
· To carry out ships inspection andshipboard internal audits (SI, ISM, ISPS,MLC, Cargo, mooring, Bunker, sailing, etc);
· Implement and monitor vessels’ non-conformities related to safety andpollutions;
· Assist vessels in follow up and close outof any non-conformity, Ensure databaseentries in the company’s databasesashore;
· Near miss, Accident, hazardousoccurrences, Non-conformityInvestigations/Analysis;
· Risk management: Control and minimizerisk within all operations;
· Conduct risk assessment, carry outinvestigation and produce reports of allserious incidents/accidents andrecommend actions to prevent re-occurrence;
· Emergency Response: Act as a memberof the emergency team if assigned bymanagement during emergency;
· Arrange and prepare office for externalTMSA audit and other Oil Majorsinspection;
· Preparation for DOC audits and Oil MajorInspections for Office;
· Monitor and maintain records of fleetships’ vessels’ survey and certification,ensures they are valid for trading;
· To prepare, monitor and control Vesseloperation and maintenance budget;
· To monitor vessel’ performance andmaintenance as per vessel PMS;
· To ensure NC, breakdowns or issues areliaised with makers, service provider ,charterer , owners and follow-up actionsare taken to resolve the issues promptlywithin agreed timeline;
· Preparation of work order and safety co-ordination of work;
· To plan and supervise vessels’ repair anddocking within budget;
· To plan and supply ships spares andstores in a timely manner and withinbudget;
· Ensure Spares parts and SafetyEquipment inventory are updated;
· Upkeep of records and documents;
· Compiling and assessing the HSSE data for company on monthly, 6 monthly and annual basis and presenting to
management;
· Compilation of Vessel SEEMP Part III & IMO DCS yearly data, EEXI requirement and Submission to class/ flag for
verification;
· To assume the role of the Company Security Officer ( CSO);
· To perform other duties as assigned.
