Business Development Assistant Manager (Freight forwarding)

Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for getting in new clients.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with existing clients and identify sales leads to develop new business opportunity.
- Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries and concerns
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the logistics sector.
- Conduct market research to discover potential clients and industries.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Collaborate with the sales team to create compelling proposals and presentations.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Work closely with internal teams, including operations and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Provide regular sales reports and updates to the management team.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, carriers and market conditions.
- Work on tenders/RFQs/Bids if required
Requirement:
- 3-5 years of related sales experience in freight forwarding industry.
