Job Scope of Commis Cook/Kitchen AssistantPreparation of all ingredients, sauces, spices and other mis-en-place necessary for the production of cuisines and orders at the outlet and ensure full cooperation with supervisors to maintain the smooth and efficient running of the shift at the outlet.
Responsible for the preparation of all cuisines and orders in the Outlet and ensures full cooperation with supervisors to maintain the smooth and efficient running of the shift at the outlet kitchenPossess thorough knowledge of the recipes and the production method of all items in the menu
Do mis-en-place, preparation, cutting, cooking and arrangement of ingredients and other items as instructed for the preparation of dishes
Assist in the controlling of costs by minimizing spoilage, waste and exercising portion control
Handle machines, fixtures and fittings, equipment and utensils the proper way and clean them after use and inform the supervisors of all mechanical breakdown
Follow all statutory obligations in relation to food hygiene and safety are met
Keep establish time schedule for specific tasks and perform special duties as may be assigned by supervisors
Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen at all times and partake in all cleaning schedules designed
Be aware of and adhere to all house rules and regulations
Requirements :
1) 1 year relevant skills & F&B experience required accordingly.
