Job Purpose:
- Manage financial accounting for companies within the Singapore Group.
- Coordinate with shared services for day-to-day finance operations, ensuring accurate accounting records and timely reporting.
Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting:
- Prepare monthly closing journal and review accounts reconciliations.
- Monitor monthly inventories aging report for NRV adequacy.
- Control chart of accounts, review consistency, and manage account creation/archiving.
- Review stock take reconciliation and assist in annual policy renewal.
- Support external audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Submit Benefit in Kind (BIK) - Car and Car-related Benefits.
- Handle Annual Statutory Accounts and XBRL. GST and Tax:
- Review GST submission workings and conduct GST reconciliation tests.
- Prepare tax and deferred tax computations for accounting provision.
- Finalize corporate tax computations for review by HO and tax consultants. Fixed Assets and Capex:
- Review and maintain records for capex and fixed asset requisitions.
- Manage the asset register and demo car records for franchises.
- Coordinate with shared services and operations on day-to-day accounting matters.
- Assist in budget and forecast preparation and finalization.
- Maintain SG Insurance Policy master file and coordinate insurance coverage for company assets.
- Implement and test new programs to ensure functionality based on requirements.
- Set up parameters and interfaces in GDMS for new models/franchise.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Accounting & Finance with 5-6 years' experience or Degree in Accounting & Finance with 3-4 years' experience.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- MNC background will be added advantages.
