Royal Ocean Marine is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Shipmanagement Procurement Manager to join our client's team. As the Shipmanagement Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement activities for our shipmanagement operations. You will work closely with various internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to support the shipmanagement operations
- Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with company policies
- Manage and track procurement activities, including order placement, delivery, and payment processing
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide procurement support
- Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify potential suppliers and cost-saving opportunities
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in shipmanagement procurement or related field
- Strong knowledge of shipmanagement operations and the maritime industry
- Proven experience in supplier management, contract negotiation, and cost control
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in procurement software and MS Office
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks and priorities
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in procurement or supply chain management
