Job Description
The successful candidate will work with Prof Gan Wee Teck and A/Prof David Hansen on arithmetic geometric aspects of the Langlands program.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
(i) study of the arithmetic properties of automorphic L-functions and their derivatives
(ii) study of arithmetic intersection numbers of natural algeb raic cycles in Shimura varieties
(iii) geometric and arithmetic theta correspondence
Qualifications
• Qualifications / Discipline: PhD degree in Pure Mathematics, with specialization in number theory and arithmetic geometry
• Skills: Ability to work with Shimura varieties, intersection theory, automorphic forms and L-functions
• Experience: At least 5 years research experience in the Langlands program and arithmetic geometry
