The User Experience Designer creates user stories, personas and storyboards, and develops wireframes and task flows based on user needs to develop the user experience (UX). He/She is creative and is able to present innovative design strategies and ideas to co-workers and stakeholders in a clear and engaging manner.
He/She coordinates consultation sessions with stakeholders to gather requirements and needs, conducts research on user needs and behaviors, market and industry trends, as well as comparable experiences to support development of user experience (UX).
He/She conducts usability assessments and tests of prototypes and interactive systems, recommend refinements and iterations to achieve the ‘optimum’ user experience, and explores alternative approaches to ensure logical product flows. He/She analyses user feedback to propose improvements to the quality of interaction between the customer and product, as well as the overall user experience.
He/She works in a team setting and is familiar with user experience design methodologies, as well as relevant design tools and software.
Optimise user experience

Research user needs
- Conduct in-person user tests to observe user behaviour
- Conduct user research through multiple tools
- Develop personas and usage scenarios or journeys
- Evaluate effectiveness of meeting desired emotional and functional needs of users
- Identify verbal and non-verbal challenges
Develop understanding of business needs
- Conduct secondary research on market, industry trends, competitors, and comparable experiences
- Consult with stakeholders to understand their goals and requirements
- Generate early stage ideas on user experiences
- Provide recommendations for user experience solutions
Design user experience architecture
- Define appropriate level of specification needed to ensure high quality development
- Execute design work consistent with design and brand standards, analytics insight, customer feedback
- Implement interaction models, user task flows, and user interface specifications
- Perform optimisation of user journeys, development of site maps and construction of wireframes enabling effortless navigation
- Work with creative directors and visual designers to incorporate a visual or brand identity in the finished product
Conduct usability testing
- Explore different approaches to solving user problem and ensuring thatthe product logically flows from one step to the next
- Perform all phases of usability testing of prototypes in the lab and remote settings
- Recommend refinements and iterations based on usability testing results to create the "best" user experience
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in design-related field or equivalent experience, Fresh Graduates are welcome
- Strong background in user interfaces, synthesis and ideation discussions.
- High proficiency with common design tools.
- Strong fundamentals in interaction design.
- Deep expertise in information architecture, user testing, and creating highly detailed design specifications
- Team player and able to develop and present design ideas in a team environment.
