Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and send Statements of Account to customers.
- Maintain an AR phone line to address customer queries promptly.
- Follow up on outstanding AR matters through email, calls, and WhatsApp messages.
- Daily updates of cash/ cheques collected.
- Perform checks on credit notes and purchase invoices.
- Participate in system implementation and improvements.
- Visit customers with the sales team to build relationships and resolve outstanding issues.
- Handle ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Qualifications and Attributes:
- GCE O Level or Diploma, or equivalent educational background.
- Effective communication skills in English and Mandarin, as many of our customers are Chinese-speaking.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial transactions and record-keeping.
- Proactive in addressing issues and finding solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Excel and proficiency in using financial systems like Navision or similar platforms.
- Ethical standards with a commitment to maintaining the confidentiality and security of financial information.
- Flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures, software, or organizational structure.
- Basic bookkeeping experience is preferred.
