Roles & Responsibilities:
- First contact for applicants
- Process new applications for cases.
- Conduct financial Means Test and determine the subsidy quantum
- Liaise with social workers and coordinators of restructured hospitals of the patients’ application status, financial and psychosocial issues
- The first contact with applicants to identify presenting/ underlying issues of applicants
- Refer patients with psychosocial issues or requests to internal and hospital
- Document bio-data of patients and requests in case-files for record
- Prepare letters and ensure that the patient information and data are updated in a timely and accurate manner
- Debt management for new patients
- Contribute and ensure that the department meet its KPIs
- Assist in tele-consult of newly diagnosed cases with renal disease.
Requirements:
- Degree in Psychology or relevant field
- Dynamic, self-motivated and patient-oriented; IT Savvy; Team player
- 1 to 3 years experience in social service or healthcare industry
