This position will be responsible for assigned portfolio in the Finance Department.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure timely month end closing, intercompany reconciliation, preparation of monthly management reporting and audit schedules.
- The monthly closing involves reviewing accounts prepared by the property accountants, including accounts classification, before entity accounts closing.
- Support monthly/quarterly management reporting and working with internal asset management team on analysing monthly/quarterly/year-to-date financial performance.
- Ensure timely preparation of full set of financial statements for group reporting and statutory audit and managing the audit process, including liaising with auditors.
- Handling of tax matters including preparation of tax computation and working closely with tax consultants on tax computation/filing submission and liaising with consultants and/or authorities on queries.
- Key driver from implementation of group policies, processes and systems.
- Support any other ad-hoc projects as required.
Job Requirements
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or ACCA with Degree in Accountancy
- At least 5 to 6 years of relevant accounting/auditing experiences.
- Well-versed in GAAP and IFRS.
- Experience in SAP and Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) would be highly advantageous.
- Candidates with prior experience in REIT reporting will have added advantage.
- Candidates with only audit experiences will also be considered for the role.
- Hands on with finance operations experience, good accounting knowledge, responsible, assertive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Frequent liaising with various parties such as inter-department, property accountants and auditors, hence good verbal and written communication skills are required.
