Quality Assurance (QA) Manager


Oversee staff, ensuring product development aligns with quality and efficiency standards. Collaborate with clients to meet their product requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish company-wide quality procedures, standards, and specifications.
  • Collaborate with purchasing manager to ensure raw materials meet quality standards.
  • Enforce health and safety standards during work operations.
  • Conduct research to optimize resource usage and reduce waste.
  • Ensure manufacturing processes meet national and international standards.
  • Survey customer requirements and align them with established quality standards.
  • Provide recommendations to improve existing quality processes.
  • Analyze statistical data for insights into quality performance.
  • Supervise staff adherence to quality procedures.
  • Monitor product development for deviations from quality policies.
  • Conduct tests to verify raw material and finished product quality.
  • Review process and product specifications for improvement opportunities.
  • Approve compliant products and reject defective ones.
  • Present reports to upper management on quality activities.
  • Maintain records of quality tests, procedures, and standards.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the QA team.
  • Train new QA Engineers.
  • Conduct NDT NAPCAP audits.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years' relevant experience, with 3 years in Precision Manufacturing.
  • NDT Level 3
  • Familiarity with AS9100 QMS, trained Lead Assessor.
  • Experience in Continuous Improvement and Lean.
  • Knowledge in Chemical Finishing & Heat Treatment processes.
  • Strong background in Metallurgy or Materials Science.
  • Familiarity with NADCAP requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills for customer interactions.
