Quality Assurance (QA) Manager
Oversee staff, ensuring product development aligns with quality and efficiency standards. Collaborate with clients to meet their product requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish company-wide quality procedures, standards, and specifications.
- Collaborate with purchasing manager to ensure raw materials meet quality standards.
- Enforce health and safety standards during work operations.
- Conduct research to optimize resource usage and reduce waste.
- Ensure manufacturing processes meet national and international standards.
- Survey customer requirements and align them with established quality standards.
- Provide recommendations to improve existing quality processes.
- Analyze statistical data for insights into quality performance.
- Supervise staff adherence to quality procedures.
- Monitor product development for deviations from quality policies.
- Conduct tests to verify raw material and finished product quality.
- Review process and product specifications for improvement opportunities.
- Approve compliant products and reject defective ones.
- Present reports to upper management on quality activities.
- Maintain records of quality tests, procedures, and standards.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the QA team.
- Train new QA Engineers.
- Conduct NDT NAPCAP audits.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years' relevant experience, with 3 years in Precision Manufacturing.
- NDT Level 3
- Familiarity with AS9100 QMS, trained Lead Assessor.
- Experience in Continuous Improvement and Lean.
- Knowledge in Chemical Finishing & Heat Treatment processes.
- Strong background in Metallurgy or Materials Science.
- Familiarity with NADCAP requirements.
- Excellent communication skills for customer interactions.
