We are looking for an experienced Senior Officer or Supervisor for our Cargo Sales Support & Marketing team. You are responsible for assisting management and account managers to ensure the proper functions of ANA and ANA Cargo in the Asia and Oceania region. You will provide strong support and administrative duties on marketing and services functions in AO region as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Assist management to create regional sales planning (for SE Asia, India and Oceania) and manage sales station activities.
- Provide support to both online and offline sales stations to ensure that our region’s goals and objectives are achieved.
- Monitor, gather, and report competitive activities, latest market development and any cargo related information available in open market to management.
- Prepare various regular and irregular/ad-hoc occurring statistics, sales and operations reports, and/or any other reports as required by management in an accurate and timely manner.
- Update sales rules and ensure they are followed through completely.
- Coordinate all cargo related matters with other ANA cargo sales and GSA (General Sales Agent) offices on a daily and monthly basis.
- Be knowledgeable and utilize all ANA cargo-related software systems. Provide support and guide/instruct GSA as necessary.
- Build and maintain excellent relationship with our partners (ANA team, GSA, forwarders, handle companies, contractors, etc.)
- Be a point of contact between cargo sales offices and other airlines, vendors etc.
- Promote digitalization (web-booking process) to customers.
- Update data/strategies to determine revenue projections.
- Prepare documents for sales target.
- Perform accounting activities in compliance with rules and procedures.
- Coordinate with public relations entities on a monthly basis regarding cargo sales for responsible region (SE Asia, India and Oceania) on promotional publications.
- Maintain and renew contracts for office equipment, office supplies and sales materials.
- Perform any other duties as directed by managers.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trading, Accounting or Business Administration.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the cargo or logistics industry (airlines, forwarders, logistics providers).
- Candidates with basic accounting knowledge will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of aviation, international trading especially cargo operation will also be an advantage.
Skills and competencies:
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Strong in numerical and math ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry (calculate discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume).
- Analytical with problem solving skills.
- Meticulous with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Pleasant personality with good interpersonal skills (teamwork spirit).
- Ability to communicate with diverse groups of people from different cultures in Asia.
- Proactive, self-motivated individual who works well independently.

- Open to travel in Asia Oceania region including Japan.
