JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Control FPSO TOPSIDE engineering work including Detail Engineering Subcontractors, EPC package supplier, and supplier documents.
- Prepare and keep detail Engineering Procurement Construction Integration (EPCI) schedule for topside in FPSO project.
- Overall responsibility for all project activities under assigned scope management of discipline in engineering, procurement and construction Integration.
- Coordinate and follow up with design disciplines with emphasis on flow of inputs between design disciplines and highlight critical problems to head of disciplines and engineering managers.
- Review project/technical specifications for FPSO topside engineering.
- Manage detail engineering subcontractor’s quality and schedule during FPSO topside detail engineering stage.
- Support to establishing project control systems for the project schedule and cost. This includes development of the project baselines.
- Assist Project Manager and Project Control Manager to prepare the job execution plan in the parts related with engineering schedule, budget and resource planning.
- Set-up and maintenance of control work includes - scope monitoring (scope of works and supply in the Contract and those in the agreements among Joint Venture/Consortium, Sub-contractors), change order management, Overall Schedule Management, Risk Management (Risk identifications, monitoring and mitigation), Project Reporting.
- Set-up and maintenance of Letter Management System and Electronic Document Management System includes – establishing information exchange flow and document exchange flow among Joint Venture/Consortium, Vendor and Sub-contractor.
- Hold, manage and attend regular (weekly, monthly, progress) and key meetings within Project and with other engineering design disciplines to understand design issues and work out satisfactory solutions.
- Develop and coordinate the reporting system and reflect to the project.
JOB REQUIREMENT:
- Bachelor’s degree in department of Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum 6 years of working experiences in project management department for engineering company.
- At least a 1 year of working experiences in FPSO related project.
- At least 2 years of working experience as Project engineer in design office and construction site for Power Plant Project.
- Willing to travel and/or station in module fabrication yard, structure pre-fabrication shop, detail engineering subcontractor’s office as project engineer.
- Familiar and aware of collaboration between inter-discipline engineering activities with proactive mind.
- Familiar with scheduling software such as MS Project.
- Must be familiar with Electronic Document Management System such as TeamBinder.
- Familiar with material control system such as SPMat.
