Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute IT infrastructure strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives
- Collaborate with the outsourced service provider to ensure efficient execution of IT Infrastructure strategies
- Planning and Management of a high-performing computing infrastructure (servers, network, databases, middleware, storage)
- Maintain oversight over IT infrastructure across 25+ countries, optimising resources where needed
- Ensure integrated system operations by executing key process controls and managing availability, resilience, security, business continuity and scalability
- Develop annual IT budget and ensure cost-effectiveness of IT services
- Partner with experienced product leaders, lead systems architects, and engineering managers to lead IT projects to meet specific infrastructure objectives, managing resources, timelines, and risks
- Develop a cloud strategy and execute the same
- Monitor disaster recovery plans and enforce backup and security protocols to safeguard data
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT Infrastructure Manager or similar role (12+ years of experience).
- Strong knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure – SCCM, App-V (or MSIX or other similar app virtualization technologies), Service Now (ITOM, ITBM and ITSM).
- Project management experience with solid problem solving and team management abilities.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Experience working in commodity business or agriculture sector would be an added advantage.
- Willing to travel to countries where Olam operates
