In this role, the candidate will be responsible for overseeing the seamless operations and customer relationship of the restaurant throughout both opening and closing shifts, ensuring a positive and efficient dining experience for patrons. The daily duties will include addressing and resolving guest complaints and feedback, with a focus on continuous improvement in food products and services. Providing coaching and constructive customers feedback to staff members to enhance their performance will be a key aspect of this role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and maintaining operational systems including Information Technology (POS) within the outlet, ensuring strict compliance with established standards.
- Your duties will involve continuous surveillance and proactive maintenance of the various IT components integral to the outlet's operations, playing a pivotal role in upholding checks and bills efficiency and adherence to industry standards.
- Upholding high standards of food quality and hygiene is imperative, and to implement necessary measures for maintenance.
- Coordination of guest seating, recognition, and accommodation of their preferences, as well as ensuring timely service, will be vital aspects of your responsibilities.
- The candidate will also play a crucial role in recording and promptly reporting all food-related complaints to the Chef.
- Conducting operational team briefings before each service period to ensure staff alignment with service standards is another key responsibility.
- Establishing and maintaining a loyal customer base through personalized customer service will be a central focus.
- Handling emergency and difficult situations effectively, including adjusting modifications to checks or bills as required, is a critical aspect of the role.
- Ensuring staff are well-versed in menu offerings and maintaining high standards of grooming and efficiency will contribute to the overall success of the restaurant.
- Be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, furnishings, equipment, and proper setup in the restaurant and connected areas.
- Regular participation in monthly physical stock takes, covering items such as glassware, plates, and crockery, will also be part of the operations duties.
To qualify in this role, the ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a team-oriented mindset and the ability to perform well under pressure. A successful candidate will hold a Diploma or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 8 years of experience in F&B or hospitality . Proven leadership and team-building skills are crucial, coupled with a highly adaptable nature enabling effective leadership, direction of changes, and the articulation of strategic plans. Excellent communication skills are a prerequisite for this position, as effective teamwork and collaboration are integral to the role.
