Sitting within Information Technology Department, the Project Manager is responsible:
· Ensure overall success of a project, or a portfolio of projects, by ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, meet business requirements and comply with governance framework, including security and resiliency.
· Manage and monitor project plan, project milestones, risk and change management to ensure delivery of the project on schedule, within scope and budget.
· Plan and manage the scope of the project, its objectives and desired outcomes, and ensure alignment of project to the business outcomes of the Authority.
· Lead the development of the overall project schedule & activities based on the appropriate methodology including identifying dependency, critical path, milestones, and deliverables.
· Build comprehensive work plan and ensure all team members are on-board with delegated tasks and activities.
· Conduct regular work group meetings and provide project progress and status reports to stakeholders with good presentation skills.
· Perform stakeholder management, including keeping the relevant stakeholders informed of the project status on a timely and regular basis.
· Manage processes and procedures covering issue and risk management.
· Manage the project schedule & lead activities towards the successful closure of the project including Performance Guarantee and Warranty Period
· During project phase, lead the application in covering,
i. Contract Management
ii. Service Level Management (SLA)
iii. Service/Change Request Management (scope, schedule, budget, prioritisation)
iv. Problem and Incident Management (tracking, escalation, closure)
v. Audit and Security Services
vi. Risk Management
What we are looking for
· Tertiary Education in relevant fields is preferred.
· CITPM (Certified ICT Project Management Programme) or PMP (Project Management Professional) or COMIT (Certification in Outsourcing Management for IT) or an equivalent certification will be an added advantage.
· Hands-on experience in full project development life cycles
· Team player with project management and people management skills
· Experience in Hardware or Technical refresh project is an added advantage.
· Analytical, conceptualisation and problem-solving skills.
· Knowledge of Singapore Authority procurement and governance processes will be an added advantage.
· Results and customer oriented
· Good written, verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
· Familiar with Singapore government data security policies and governance Alternative Change Management Skills Set and Experience for Project Manager
· A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
