GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Logistics Assistant oversees receiving and delivering of goods, maintaining of goods in staging area and in ensuring proper housekeeping.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process goods receipt for incoming orders and expensed out outgoing transactions in Oracle system and updating of MR report
- Ensure all transactions are closed out in oracle prior to month end closing
- Perform verification of incoming and outgoing items/parts to ensure transaction accuracy
- Access in-transit storage space as and when required to accommodate any surge of incoming orders to meet the project schedule
- Responsible for handling of heavy goods with the use of reach truck/stacker, loading, unloading, picking, packing, sorting, and labelling of items/parts according to the ROV system material requisition
- Ensure the completeness and accuracy of the inward & outward shipping document filing and updating of shipment log
- Prepare outgoing Shipping documents such as Material Transfer/Packing list and Commercial invoice
- Follow up action on RMA items received from Backload shipments from Offshore
- General maintenance and proper housekeeping of the staging area.
- Maintain inventory of consumables items in warehouse and order as required.
- Perform periodic cycle count of the in-transit ship spares
- Weekly update of MR report to individual ROV system
- Other warehouse duties as and when assigned.

JOB SPECIFICATION:
Qualifications
- Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level / SPM
Experience
- At least 2 years working experience in related field
- Oracle experience is an added advantage
Special Skills / Knowledge
- Computer literate
- Ability to multitask
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Export shipment to IMCO/IATA packing standards/proficiency & competency necessary & essential
- Experience in operating 3T forklift desirable. With forklift certificate preferred
- DG/Hazmat knowledge
- Good in Excel
