We are looking for a Business Support who is capable and enthusiastic about a role that requires proactive communication skills, good office management capabilities, and an appetite for teamwork, working with managers in supporting the business.


As the Business Support, you are responsible for the daily commercial and administrative duties of the business and supporting the team with requirements. Reporting to the Managing Director / Business Manager, you will also be assisting in the administrative, operations and business teams, handling confidential and time-sensitive materials. This role will provide a great stepping stone in your career, you will gain valuable knowledge and skills as you build towards a Business Management role.

We are a small entity but part of a listed organisation in Japan. We work with clients throughout the Asia Pacific on feed ingredients and agri-commodities. The company has committed to a growth plan of expanding its product portfolio in the next 3 to 5 years and to support our growth strategy, we have created this new role to join us on a full-time basis. Business:
- Research to provides advice on Import & Export custom requirements for the company
- Provide sequencing results Data delivery from server to Hard disk or via Cloud for local & overseas customers.
- Facilitate processing of documents related to business permit
- Provide insightful, accurate and comprehensive analysis
- Work closely with business units to assess feasibility of report requirements

Admin:
- Overseeing general operations needed for a smooth- running office.
- Coordinate the repair and maintenance of Office equipment

Finance:
- Data entry in system relevant to various area for instance of fixed assets, sales, purchases, payment, and cost/expenses
- Assist in Accounts Receivable duties such as maintaining and following up for the Outstanding Payment list, Invoice creation and liaising with the Sales Team to obtain Invoice payment from customers.

Operation:
- Provide support to ensure shipment compliance
- Support commercial activities and despatch coordination (Between customers and service provider)
- Handle samples or inventory receiving, sorting, packing, log keeping, ensure quantity and storage location are kept in high accuracy.


Work closely with each internal departments to ensure productivity and effective support.
Any other task as assigned.

Skill & Competency

  • Independent, initiative, eagerness to help and learn
  • Meticulous, organized, systematic and detail-oriented
  • Passion for problem-solving and increasing efficiency in a startup environment
  • Handling experience for day-to-day work
  • Working experience with Service Provider, System Integrator, or IT Company setup
  • Microsoft suite knowledge, or other computerized accounting software
  • Active participation in strategic planning process, developing administrative processes

Requirement:

  • Any Tertiary Education with minimium of 3 years' working experience
  • Willing to be flexible and deal with a fast-changing dynamic work environment
  • Training and Guidance will be provided for candidates that have good attitude to pick up this role.
