Project Description

Electro-Mechanical Assembler (Technician), Built PCBs, wiring harnesses, and complete electro-mechanical assemblies for major oil and gas service industry, using provided documentations.

Responsibilities

a. Assemble PCBs following the provided documentation and specifications.
b. Construct wiring harnesses according to electrical schematics and assembly instructions.
c. Assemble complete electro-mechanical systems and devices used in the oil and gas service industry.
d. Ensure the quality and accuracy of each assembly, adhering to industry standards and guidelines.
e. Identify and troubleshoot any assembly issues, making necessary adjustments and repairs.
f. Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve any design or assembly-related challenges.

Skills

- Proficient in soldering large complex PCBs, wiring harnesses, and complete electro-mechanical devices used in oil and gas applications
- Strong experience with various solder types: Sn63, Sn96.5, Pb85, Pb93.5, Au80Sn20; expert in HMP and Gold micro-soldering
- Skilled in using a microscope for high-precision solder tasks;
- Ability to perform visual inspection and basic operations with a multimeter to identify and make necessary repairs or modifications;
- Accustomed to technical procedures: step-by-step instructions, work requests, BOM, electrical-mechanical schematics and prints, wiring diagrams, parts inventory
- Perform testing, repairs, reworks, or modifications to existing circuits.
- Identifying potential failures to minimize rejection.
- Diploma, higher NITEC Or NITEC in Mechatronics/Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- General mechanical/electrical knowledge with electro/mechanical device
- Should be able to read mechanical/ electronics schematics
- Work safely at all times, complying with health and safety and other relevant regulations, directives and guidelines
- Hands-on Experience in a Soldering environment with high-temperature boards
- Proficient in the use of basic hand tools, calipers, multimeter, computers and other basic electronics instruments
