Responsibilities:
1. Responsibilities encompass the promotion of Shipping Agency Services and involve:
- Actively pursuing business leads to foster business growth.
- Providing assistance on tasks such as PDA/RFQ/Inquiries as assigned by the Commercial Manager/Business Manager.
2. Execution of operations related to assigned vessels, including:
- Managing and overseeing daily vessel operations/activities in Singapore as the primary point of contact (Integrated Solutions).
- Participation in operations-related meetings and reviews associated with the handled vessels.
- Collaboration with Operations, Disbursement, and Credit Control Departments to ensure efficient services for all customers.
- Coordination with relevant departments and other company offices as needed.
3. Support in conducting research and market intelligence, involving:
- Sourcing, gathering, and analyzing information on the shipping market to contribute to team and division success.
4. Business Development:
- Capability to cross-sell additional company services such as Marine Logistics, Ship Spares Logistics, Oil & Gas, Energy, and Bunker Fuel, when opportunities arise.
5. Preparation and updating of reports, including:
- Updating the "Commercial Success Plan" in the Shipping Department Share Drive and CMS.
- Assisting the Commercial Manager in quarterly KPI Reporting.
Requirements:
- Minimum Qualification: Diploma in Shipping/Logistics.
- Specialist Knowledge: Shipping Agency.
- Strong communication skills.
- Minimum 2 years of shipping-related experience, preferably in Shipping Agency & Operations. Other competencies include effective communication skills, good commercial acumen, and effective interpersonal skills.
