The Cloud Application and Platform Group (CAP Group) at School of Computer Science and Engineering (SCSE) from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, is seeking 1 motivated Research Fellow with AI knowledge background.
The Research Fellow will be responsible for the research and development of our machine learning systems, towards smart grid or green data center.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct cutting-edge research and development in the machine learning field
- Publish high-quality papers in high-impact journals and conferences
- Transfer advanced technologies to real-world applications (smart grid, data center operation, etc)
- Conduct literature review and write high-quality surveys
- Present research insights to team members and external partners
- Produce and file technical disclosure (TD) and intellectual property (IP)
- Mentor PhD or Master students to improve their research skills.
Job Requirements:
- PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related disciplines
- Possess the following skills:Hands-on research experience in machine learning field
Experienced on multi-modality learning or transfer learning
Skills of deploying and managing AI models on edge and cloud
- Prefer candidates with publications in top-tier venues such as NIPS, ICML, AAAI, etc
- Highly competent in algorithms and programming; Strong coding skills in Python
- Work and collaborate well with team members
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- Excellent verbal and written communication
