Roles & Responsibilities
- Taking off quantities, sourcing sub-contractors & suppliers, pricing and preparation of tender submission for all kinds of project especially R&R, A&A and Paints projects
- Check tender documents for completeness and update tender amendment and corrigendum. Manage Pre-Tender to post-contract QS services and responsible for contract documentation
- Responsible to prepare necessary documentation from shortlisting to award contracts, process include evaluation, comparison, and recommendation
- Prepare budget and cost control monitoring to ensure the project cost is within the allocated budget
-Prepare and analyze cost comparison
- Responsible for measuring quantities and taking off
- Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlement, and payments
- Preparation of Monthly Progress
- To negotiate on pricing
- Prepare project budget and cashflow.
- Liaise with consultants and clients for monthly progress claim and monitor against cash flow projection
- Check for discrepancy and raise tender query.
- Perform measurements and prepare Bills of Quantities
- Prepare and compilation for tender submission including calling of quotations, pricing, compilation of PQM, post tender questionnaires
- Calling of subcontract quotations, preparation of cost comparison, reports, negotiation, recommendation to award and preparation of subcontract agreement
- Evaluation of subcontractor’s claim and certification of payment.
- Track and submit variation orders, liaise with consultants for assessment
- Liaise and negotiate with consultants and client for finalization of accounts
-Ensure timely and justifiable certification of payments from clients.
- Keep track of progress claim status and Accounts Receivable.
- Any ad-hoc duties assigned by the Contract Manager & management.
