You will be part of the Memorial Facilities & Planning Division, which oversees the planning of after-death facilities in Singapore.
You will be responsible for the following:
- Review and plan for exhumation projects.
- Prepare, publish and evaluate tenders.
- Prepare and submit requests for project funding, process claims, track and monitor project budget, cashflow and utilisation.
- Coordinate and work closely with internal (operations team, finance, legal, corporate communications) and external stakeholders (other agencies and contractors) for timely and satisfactory completion of the projects.
- Prepare submissions and documents for senior management’s approval.
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong analytical, conceptualisation and problem-solving skills with attention to details.
- Interest in project management work.
- Experience in public sector finance and procurement practices and processes.
- Comfortable to work in a fast-paced and highly volatile environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.
- Able to work independently, self-driven and always ready to strive for improvement.
- Good interpersonal skills and enjoy working with both internal and external stakeholders.
