Job Responsibilities:
- Monitoring product quality throughout the manufacturing process to ensure that it meets company standards.
- Estimating the cost of labor and materials needed for each project, then submitting this information to upper management for approval.
- Overseeing work schedules and deadlines to ensure that projects are completed on time.
- Fabricate and assembles metal structures and equipment through the use of welders, cutters, shapers, CNC machines and measuring tools.
- Complete each weld to the specified standards using appropriate equipment and materials.
- Ensure quality weld and inspection for welding process.
- Interfaces with production welders to improve welding methods.
- Ensure timely delivery for every individual projects and project management.
- Optimize welding productivity and performance.
- Communicate job expectations and performance requirements to welders.
- Initiate, coordinate and enforce production, safety, and quality systems, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure that welded material and consumables meet specifications.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma / Vocational Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Engineering or any related field.
- Have experience is welding parameter setting for ESAB SAW Welding.
- Knowledge in WPS and QPR.
- Interpret welding symbols and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of welder and welding safety standards.
- Good mechanical aptitude, knowledge and detailing in welding technical drawings.
- Excellent problem solving, time management skills and team player.
- Self-motivated, excellent time management, planning and prioritization of jobs.
