PURCHASING OFFICER

Straits Marine Supply Pte. Ltd.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1.) TO HANDLE FULL SET OF PURCHASING PROCESS(SOURCING, QUOTATION INQUIRY, NEGOTIATION AND FOLLOW UP).

2.) COORDINATE WITH SUPPLIERS ON QUOTATION TO ENSURE PRODUCT AVAILABILITY, NEGOTIATE PRICING AND RESOLVE GOODS RETURN TO SUPPLIERS.

3.) CHECK AND REVIEW SUPPLIERS INVOICE/DELIVERIES AGAINST ORDERS.

4.) EXPORT MANAGERS PLAN AND COORDINATE THE INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENT OF GOODS AND FULL PROCESS OF HANDLING INBOUND/OUTBOUND.

5.) CONDUCTING MARKET RESEARCH TO DETERMINE MARKET REQUIREMENT FOR EXISTING AND FUTURE PRODUCTS.

6.) ADHOC DUTIES ASSIGNED.


JOB REQUIREMENT :

1.) PEOPLE ORIENTED WITH GOODS COMMUNICATION SKILLS.

2.) ABLE TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY AND WORK AS TEAM.

3.) GOOD UNDERSTANDING OF BUSINESS PROCESS AND SYSTEM.

4.) PROFICIENCY IN MS OFFICE(WORDS,EXCEL) AND ZOHO SYSTEM.

5.) PLEASANT PERSONALITY AND GOOD ATTITUDE.

6.) 2 YEARS RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE IN PURCHASING DEPARTMENT, PREFERABLY IN SHIP SUPPLY INDUSTRY.

7.) FRESH GRADUATE ARE WELCOME.
