Selection Preferred Criteria:
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience.
- Teachers having prior work experience at DPS will be eligible for a higher qualifying salary.
- Teachers who have work experience at Private schools in Singapore will be eligible for a higher qualifying salary.
- Singaporean applicants will have an added advantage.
Duties:
- Develop lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.
- Responsible for teaching biology to the students.
- Present lessons that cater to the needs of all the students within the class.
- Checking of notebook, preparing worksheets, setting question papers.
- Conducting practical lessons.
- Supervising and grading examinations, and, at the end of the semester or year, grading each student.
- Handling other duties related to subject according to requirement of the School.
- Prior Experience of teaching Biology subject is required (Grade 9-12).
- Demonstrates the necessary subject knowledge and teaching methodology.
- Ensures the safety of students at all times
- Communicates and provides feedback to the parents during the Parent Teacher Meetings, and whenever necessary.
- Identifies students who may require additional support and ensures they receive the necessary support.
- Works in line with co-teachers & team mates.
