You will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care related activities to ensure delivery of high quality patient care at the respective clinical area, require to provide high quality patient care in various disciplines by performing clinical procedures that will meet the patients' immediate physical and emotional needs and will assist the Nurse Manager/Nurse Clinician in coordinating, implementing and monitoring clinical and service quality performance indicators for continuous improvement, clinical excellence, operational, financial and service quality but not be limited to the following:-
- Utilize clinical judgment, critical thinking and problems solving skills in the delivery of patient care. Integrate established and new operational policies and procedures into nursing practice.
- Perform patient assessment and appropriate interventions for effective patient’s outcomes. Coordinate patient care and provide quality nursing care.
- Assist Surgeons/Physicians on patient rounds during treatment / procedures and examination of patient. Update the Principal Doctor about patient’s condition and response to the surgical / medical intervention. Follow through with doctor’s orders and report promptly any significant changes in patient’s condition using the SBAR method to the appropriate doctor.
- Perform basic and complex nursing procedures and treatments to meet the general comfort and well-being of the patient.
- Demonstrate competency in clinical skills and knowledge such as venepuncture for blood sampling, ECG monitoring and interpretation.
- Provide patient education and participate in patient’s rehabilitation, involving the patient’s family as necessary.
- Record and maintain proper and accurate documentation of patient’s progress and management in the Multi-Disciplinary Notes, Medication Charts and Clinical Charts.
- Guide subordinates in all direct and in-direct patient care activities, including compliance to infection control practices.
- Exercise economy and care in the use of resources, including equipment and supplies.
- Ensure accurate billing of charges.
- Report all incidents and feedback to supervisor or nurse-in-charge
- Maintain professional growth and development through the ongoing process of formal and informal education.
- Participate in Hospital and Nursing committee when assigned.
- Assist to perform checks on the general cleanliness and tidiness of the department, report any defective facilities/equipment.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment at all times for patients.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care. Maintain a good working relationship among medical personals, patients and the public.
- Exhibit professional behavior to enhance quality service in compliance with Crawfurd Core Values.
- Keep abreast with current information technology and its applications.
- Work Closely with Senior / Staff Nurse
- Any other duties as may be assigned by Immediate Supervisor / Nurse Clinician / Nurse Manager

Qualification & Experience:-
- At least NITEC in Nursing with minimum 2 year of work experience in hospital setting.
- Registered with Singapore Nursing Board
- Possess Basic Care Life Support (BCLS) & Phlebotomy certification
- Good communication skills and able to build rapport easily
- Confident and poise in delivery of care
- Team-player
- Must be willing to do rotating shift work including night shift, weekends and Public Holidays
