- Source necessary direct and indirect materials, engaging with both local and overseas vendors to negotiate optimal prices and payment terms.
- Foster collaboration and maintain positive relationships with internal/external stakeholders and vendors to plan and initiate essential procurements.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery, actively monitoring purchases to prevent shortages, overcharges, and material defects.
- Resolve issues related to supply, quality, service, and invoicing by collaborating with internal/external stakeholders and vendors; identify process bottlenecks and propose timely solutions.
- Contribute to the implementation of internal procurement strategies to meet daily Operations & Maintenance requirements.
- Prepare, develop, and review contracts for new and existing suppliers; monitor contract validity and expiry.
- Create various documents and monitor the validity and expiry of each documentation.
- Serve as the System Administrator for company's Maintenance Management System.
- Monitor and track the Asset Life Cycle for effective planning of asset renewal and/or disposal.
- Provide support for Budgetary Planning and Costings.
- Perform any additional duties as instructed by Management.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
- At least Diploma/Degree in Business, Supply Chain or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work independently and as a team player
