Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and handle daily Sea Import Export shipments.
- Ensure customer requirements are met and documentation is accurate and precise.
- Resolve shipment issues
- Communicate with customers, shipping lines, co-loaders, transport team, trucking partners and overseas offices in order to ensure smooth pickup/ delivery of the shipments.
- Manage documentation flow such as bills of lading, certificates, licences and etc.
- Prepare billing, ensure the relevant charges billed correctly to customer, prepare payment vouchers, verifications of vendor costings, closing of all shipment files and filling of documents.
- Any other task assigned by the superior
Requirements:
- GCE ‘O’ Levels / Diploma in relevant field of studies
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant work experience in handling Sea Freight import export duties in a Freight Forwarding organization
- Knowledge in freight forwarding, export procedure and permit declaration.
- Experience in SAP system and Sage X3 will be preferred
- Computer literate
- Familiar with incoterms
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and able to function as a team player
- Knowledge of customs regulations and dangerous goods would be desirable
- Able to work in fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
