Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment for our young students. The ideal candidate should have experience working with children between the ages of 3 and 4 and a strong understanding of early childhood development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and curriculum that align with the school's philosophy and goals
  • Create a safe, caring, and engaging learning environment for young children
  • Observe and assess children's progress and development, and communicate regularly with parents and caregivers
  • Manage the classroom and ensure that all children are supervised at all times
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to create a positive and cohesive school culture
  • Attend regular staff meetings and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices in early childhood education
  • Support children's social and emotional development by modeling positive behaviors and fostering positive relationships
  • Use positive discipline techniques and strategies to manage behavior and promote a positive classroom environment
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration

Qualifications:

  • Minimumlly Diploma in early childhood education, child development, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience working with young children in a preschool or childcare setting
  • Strong understanding of early childhood development and developmentally appropriate practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Experience with curriculum planning and implementation
  • Ability to create a safe and nurturing learning environment for young children
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
