Requirement
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Computer science, Information systems, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of work experience as a Data Modeler or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of data modelling concepts, techniques, and methodologies.
- Proficiency in data modelling tools such as SQLDBM, ERwin, ER/Studio, or similar.
- Experience with relational databases and SQL.
- Knowledge of dimensional modelling and familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with data integration and ETL/ELT processes.
- Good to have Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as Snowflake Data Cloud, Azure Data Lake Storage.
Responsibilities
- Implement and manage Windows- Manage the design and development of conceptual, logical, and physical data models that align with the Company’s data architecture and business requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, database administrators, solution architects, data engineers, and external service providers to understand data requirements and translate them into effective data models.
- Analyse existing data structures, databases, and systems to identify opportunities for improvement and propose data modelling solutions.
- Develop and govern data modelling standards, best practices, and guidelines to ensure consistency and maintainability across data models.
- Review to ensure up-to-date documentation for data models, including entity-relationship diagrams, data flow diagrams, and data catalogues/data lineage.
- Ensure regular data profiling and analysis to validate and optimize data models for performance and efficiency.
- Participate in data governance activities, including data quality assessments, data security management, master data management, and metadata management.
