General Scope
- Perfume Compounding as per guided formula.
- Product application: Make product batches by applying perfume to unperfumed product bulk.
- Preparation for odour evaluations.
- Materials Management covering inventory, ordering, receiving and shipping.
Daily Responsibilities
- Lab equipment calibration/ Room & fridges temperature/ humidity measurement.
- Lab house-keeping
- Coordinate and review with client and other team members on assigned tasks.
- Track and monitor progress and completion of existing tasks.
Product Application
- Picking materials from inventory for product making
- Make product batches by applying perfume to unperfumed product bulk
- Fill in batch making record
- Clean lab tools used for making.
Odour Evaluations
- Prepare evaluation sheet/dispensing sheet, oil/ samples for evaluation
- Prepare samples for use in evaluation
- Prepare the samples for neat odour evaluations
Materials Management
- Perform Inventory checks and update inventory systems
- Order materials to the perfume suppliers
- Coordination with Dock office for deliveries
- Assessing suitability for shipment receipts (Accept/ reject)
- Sort perfume/ product/ samples
- Perform Material receiving, labelling, sampling, dispensing, disposal etc.
- Input data of Material SDS/COA
- Refill material inventory
- Scrapping of perfume/ raw materials/ products etc.
- Fill out shipping / custom forms as required
- Collect MSDS
- Contact couriers for pick-up, recording shipping info, follow-up on delivery process and notify requestors on delivery when needed.
- Confirm terms for freight and duties for shipping.
