- Responsible for the entire procurement procedures including purchase requisitions, obtain quotes, purchase orders and delivery of goods according to the purchasing guidelines.
- Negotiate and build a good working relationship with the suppliers.
- Create inventory control and stock take for all goods supplied and delivered.
- Liaise with the Superintendents and vessels for matters relating to requisitions.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Purchasing, or Supply Chain with equivalent qualifications.
- At least 3 years of purchasing experience in Marine/Shipping industry.
- Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
