Responsibilities :
- Oversee the end-to-end logistics operations within the 3PL company.
- Develop and implement efficient logistics strategies to optimize transportation, warehousing, and distribution processes.
- Manage and coordinate the movement of goods, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as procurement, inventory management, and customer service, to streamline logistics operations and enhance overall supply chain efficiency.
- Evaluate and select transportation providers, negotiate contracts, and monitor their performance to ensure cost-effectiveness and service quality.
- Monitor inventory levels and warehouse capacity to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize excess inventory.
- Implement and maintain systems and technology solutions for tracking shipments, managing inventory, and optimizing route planning.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to transportation, warehousing, and safety.
- Lead and develop a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and training to ensure high performance and employee engagement.
- Analyze logistics data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding logistics-related inquiries, concerns, and escalations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business development efforts, including participating in customer meetings, preparing proposals, and presenting logistics solutions.
Requirements :
- Diploma in Supply Chain/Logistics OR any equivalent studies
- Experience in warehouse, logistics & OR shipping management within 3PL company
- Ability to lead the warehouse operation function
