COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Grocery Logistics Singapore (GLS) a wholly owned subsidiary of FairPrice Group Supply Chain, is a well-established logistics player in the Fast Moving Consumers Goods (FMCG) segment, incorporated since January 1993. Other than being the key logistics provider for NTUC FairPrice and its subsidiaries, we had serviced the Dairy Farm Group, Royal Ahold Group (since exited from Singapore Markets) and many small supermarket chains since our establishment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide support in updating new item information (e.g. pallet configuration, product setting, assigning pick location)
- Provide support in monitoring inventory management, return to supplier and returns from stores and ensure follow-up actions with various PICs
- To regularly perform inventory checks to make sure that inventory tally with the system, and the expiry date key into the system tally with the physical stocks.
- To assist PMD/IS request for value added service such as repacking, checking of expiry date, checking of quality issues etc.
- To assist to hold the stocks upon request from PMD or if the stocks have quality issue
- Assist manager to prepare reports
- Provide support to the project team in testing, SOP formation, training and migration.
- Diploma/Degree undergraduate in logistics/supply chain, engineering or business related field
- Experience in supervisory role or hands on operationswill be an added advantage
- Proven experience in Logistics and Supply Chain Management
- Excellent documentation and data analytical skills.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Experience in leading and developing top performing teams.
Working hours: 8.15am to 5.35pm (Mon to Fri)
Period:1 year
