Roles
- Coordinate and plan resources for the daily inbound and outbound warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and timeliness of distribution.
- Contribute to the development and modification of warehousing policies and procedures, emphasizing proper internal control and handling.
- Manage shelving storage, overseeing the organization of goods within the warehouse.
- Monitor daily warehouse activities, conduct cycle counts, stock takes, and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Integrate Toyota Japanese production system concepts like Kaizen and Genchi Genbutsu to enhance and optimize warehouse operation processes and workflows for continuous improvement.
- Implement and supervise safety procedures in warehouse operations, ensuring team members adhere to daily work duties.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills by motivating and organizing team members to meet or exceed productivity targets.
- Prepare and submit regular reports to Management/Joint Headquarters (JHQ) on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Play a key role in the hiring, training, and development of warehouse personnel.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience
- Willingness to engage in hands-on operations with a customer service-oriented approachs
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) for data analysis and reporting purposes
