We are looking for passionate team players to join us in our finance team. You will be responsible for AR, AP and GL with close collaboration with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handles all aspects relating to the accounting functions to facilitate the closing of the full sets of accounts (AR, AP, GL)
- Responsible for month-end, quarter end and year end closing
- Handles day-to-day financial transactions such as issuing invoices, allocating receipts, payments and record transactions in accounting system
- Review AR aging and ensure collections are reconciled promptly and accurately
- Liaise with customers promptly to ensure timely payment
- Assist in annual finance audit
- Perform monthly bank reconciliation
- Perform quarterly and yearly GST tax submissions
- Provide relevant support as necessary and other ad-hoc assignments
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or an equivalent professional certification
- At least 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Knowledge of Sage300 is an added advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
