The Role Responsibilities

Client engagement

  • Achieve global wealth management’s strategic priority to grow and deepen Wealth client base, by leading the design and implementation of global client engagement programmes across markets working with Wealth and Segment teams at Group and Country level
  • Drive a data-driven approach, proactively generating key customer insights/intelligence to inform client engagement opportunities and/or risks, and develop appropriate strategy and actions to capture such opportunities
  • Support markets to continuously improve on client selection criteria and sales enablers by collecting, identifying and communicating best practices across markets
  • Operationalize engagement with markets and tracking of all the campaign leads, client outcomes and business impact
  • Lead WM efforts in defining the Digital Sales and Marketing strategic objectives including target segment, approach, types of use cases and business case in partnership with Group DS&M and key markets
  • Track the business impact of agreed campaigns and communicate best practices across markets
  • Key group lead to identify opportunities and gaps in key enablers to drive sustainable performance including digital experience optimisation, data, martech tools, etc. Act as clearing house to facilitate the resolution of these opportunities and gaps with relevant functions and monitor progress

Content management

  • Define Wealth Management’s content management strategy, build supporting infrastructure and manage content needs to offer curated content and channels for clients to consume relevant content across all client segments.
  • Explore new / manage existing partnerships and strategic alliances to innovate to deliver compelling user experience for our clients.
  • Lead innovation in content creation and delivery across the SC footprint.
  • Conceptualise and strategize to build up the SC Wealth Management brand’s presence through content engagement.
  • Design and implement content-led client engagement strategy in line with business objectives, including leveraging the use of the use of relevant content via digital sales and marketing activities
  • Build effective content engagement across various social media and content channels and lead initiatives to drive audience stickiness and channel performance.
  • Maintain the content inventory for internal and external audiences in accordance to our client journey requirements.
  • In close collaboration with Group CIO and Product teams, deliver compelling wealth management content for global consumption, with minimum localisation requirements for easier market adoption in line with evolving client needs.
  • Provide global support via a cross-functional content workgroup across markets to foster knowledge sharing, collaboration and progress around content best practices and challenges to maximize content leverage.
  • Own and manage requirements definition, selection and implementation of content-related technologies.
  • Continuously monitor outcomes and identify areas of opportunities and improvement, linking proposition elements to a set of strategic KPIs, financial and non-financial, to ensure measurable and sustainable progress against execution of propositions
  • Implement methodology for measuring and tracking content investment, adoption and ROI.
  • Oversee content measurement and key performance indicators (KPIs), including the design of relevant, synthesized dashboards.

Processes

  • Define & implement appropriate process and controls on the content platform to ensure accurate dissemination of the market commentary content produced by the CIO Office / authorized content producers and in line with the defined distribution rules for each commentary.

People & Talent

  • Provide leadership, coaching, development opportunities and support to the team members by setting SMART objectives, managing performance & identifying / supporting development needs.
  • Create, Maintain & Track a "Talent List" and succession plan for all positions.
  • Create a work environment where members of the team can feel safe, motivated and empowered to perform their role at their best.

Risk Management

  • Ensure compliance to controls and governance requirements.

  • Uphold high standards of conduct and governance, with a focus on fair client outcomes.
  • Ensure adherence to all internal guidelines and regulatory frameworks.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • A results-driven graduate / post graduate professional with 10+ years of experience in the financial industry and had performed in similar leadership capacity.
  • Sound knowledge of Wealth Management propositions, products and engagement models.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence outcomes.
  • A thought leader - big picture thinker with a strong grasp of industry trends and a predisposition for market disruption.
  • Proven experience in project management to develop and deploy systems and processes as related to multiplatform content delivery and partner management.
  • Advanced understanding and experience in product and platform marketing with an eye for developing quality assets and content.
